Services
I offer a comprehensive translation service
Translation Service
I provide professional Spanish into English translation services from a variety of source formats, saving you time and energy, and ensuring that your message is communicated properly and reaches a wider audience. Texts remain consistent in the choice of vocabulary and sentence structure because it is only me working on them and, as I am the only port of call, there’s no chasing up with different people if you need to get in contact!
Proofreading and Editing
It is usually better to have a text translated professionally, but if you have a text that is already in English, I can help you to refine your vocabulary, syntax, punctuation and grammar so that the text flows as coherently and as succinctly as possible.
Transcriptions
Whether you’re a TV company that needs subtitles for a documentary or a radio station that requires transcription of a podcast, I can help you. I can translate and transcribe a wide range of audio and visual material, e.g. radio, TV, commercials, interviews, sport commentaries, etc. Similarly, if you just need pages transcribed in English without translation, that’s okay, too!
Text Adaptation and Conversion
I have lived and worked for many years in the U.S., the U.K., Spain and Latin America, so I am versed in the respective cultural idiosyncrasies and linguistic quirks of these regions. I now reside in the U.K. and my translation partner lives in the U.S., so between us we are able to translate your texts to suit either a U.S. or U.K. English cultural market.
